Beyza Timur

With strong experience in competition law, Beyza brings extensive expertise in both Turkish and EU competition law, advising multinational and national clients across a wide variety of industries, including finance, energy, telecommunications, aviation, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, electronics, fuel, automotive, tires, and many others.

Throughout her career, Beyza has represented a broad range of clients before the Competition Authority and national courts in high-profile cases, spanning cartels, abuse of dominance, vertical agreements, complex mergers, and settlement and commitment proceedings. She has played a key role in various preliminary and full-scale investigations initiated by the Turkish Competition Board, providing strategic counsel and effective defense strategies. Beyza has handled numerous merger control filings and has also been instrumental in managing multi-jurisdictional merger filings, offering strategic insights and coordinating with legal teams across different jurisdictions to ensure seamless compliance.

Beyza has a proven track record in administrative and commercial disputes, as well as in individual applications to the Turkish Constitutional Court in matters related to competition law. She provides clients with strategic guidance on day-to-day competition law matters and delivers tailored compliance programs and training sessions with a pragmatic approach.

Beyza holds an LL.B. from Ankara University and an LL.M. in Business Law from Istanbul Bilgi University.
