GCR’s Women in Antitrust – 2025
Sezin Elçin, the first and only woman from Turkey recognized in the field of antitrust law

Sezin Elçin has become the first and only woman from Turkey ever recognized in the field of antitrust law by Global Competition Review (GCR) – featured in the 2025 edition of GCR’s Women in Antitrust, published every 4 years since 2009.
At CoPartners, gender equality is more than a principle, it is part of our foundation. We are proud to be among the few firms in Turkey led by a female managing partner. While the field of competition law is attracting more women, leadership roles remain predominantly male. This recognition is both a breakthrough and a symbol of what’s possible.
What this matters:
✔️ Recognition from GCR – the global benchmark in antitrust and competition law
✔️ A first for Turkey and for women in the antitrust field
✔️ A milestone achieved just one year after the launch of CoPartners
Women in Antitrust is one of GCR’s flagship publications, a carefully curated list celebrating the most outstanding and influential female professionals in the antitrust space worldwide.
Sezin’s inclusion in this year’s Women in Antitrust list is not only a proud moment for our firm but a significant step forward for the Turkish legal community.
