The Turkish Competition Board (TCB) has launched an investigation against Ak Gıda, Pınar Süt, Sütaş, and 36 other dairy companies for allegedly violating competition law by pressuring livestock farmers through the practice of providing feed in return for milk and has imposed interim measures prohibiting quantity/brand forcing and requiring compliance with the Raw Milk Production Agreement.
The TCB has launched an investigation against 33 undertakings, two associations of undertakings, and a consulting firm in the shipbuilding sector for allegedly violating competition law through wage fixing, no-poaching agreements, and exchanging competitively sensitive information, as well as for facilitating the formation and maintenance of such agreements.

The European Commission has fined Google €2.95 billion for abusing its dominant position by systematically favoring its own ad exchange, AdX, through its publisher ad server and ad buying tools, and has ordered the company to end these self-preferencing practices and implement measures to cease its inherent conflicts, giving Google 60 days to propose measures to comply.

The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has cleared the proposed merger of EVRi with DHL eCommerce UK, concluding that the transaction does not raise competition concerns in the markets for next-day or standard B2C small package delivery services, or out- of-home delivery services, as the parties are not close competitors and sufficient alternative suppliers will remain.

Rekabet Kurulu, Ak Gıda, Pınar Süt, Sütaş ve 36 diğer teşebbüs hakkında, çiğ süt satın aldıkları hayvancılık işletmelerini süt karşılığı yem uygulaması yoluyla baskı altına almak suretiyle 4054 sayılı Kanun’un 4. maddesini ihlal ettikleri iddiasıyla soruşturma açılmasına ve söz konusu uygulama kapsamında üreticilere miktar ve/veya marka zorlaması yapılmamasını, ayrıca Çiğ Süt Üretim Sözleşmesi’nde yer alan ilgili hükümlere uyulmasını teminen geçici tedbirler alınmasına karar verdi.
Rekabet Kurulu, tersanecilik sektöründe faaliyet gösteren 33 teşebbüs, iki teşebbüs birliği ve bir danışmanlık firması hakkında, ücret tespiti ile çalışan ayartmama anlaşmaları ve rekabete hassas bilgi değişimi ile bu tür anlaşmaların kurulmasına ve sürdürülmesine yönelik kolaylaştırıcı eylemlerde bulundukları iddialarıyla soruşturma açılmasına karar verdi.
