The Turkish Competition Board, based on information obtained within the scope of the Mobile Ecosystems Sector Inquiry, has launched an investigation into Google over allegations that its agreements with device manufacturers and the Android Developer Verification Program may have violated competition law through financial incentives, default app advantages to Google Search through Google’s other services such as Google Chrome and Google Voice Assistant, and ensuring the pre-installation of the Google Chrome browser as a condition for licensing its operating system, in order to assess whether these practices lead to restrictions affecting competition in the operating system market.

The European Commission has concluded that Apple does not qualify as a gatekeeper in relation to Apple Ads and Apple Maps under the Digital Markets Act, finding that neither service constitutes an important gateway between business users and end users, without affecting Apple’s existing gatekeeper designations for its other core platform services.
The German Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt) has prohibited Amazon from applying price control mechanisms that influence third-party sellers’ pricing on the German Amazon Marketplace, considering this systematic interference in sellers’ freedom to set their own prices to constitute an abuse under the German Competition Act and Article 102 TFEU, and ruled that, in the future, Amazon may use such mechanisms only in exceptional cases, particularly in instances of excessive pricing, and in accordance with the requirements set by the Bundeskartellamt regarding parameters, rule-setting, and notifications.
The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets has launched an investigation into an IT company over suspected no-poach agreements with other businesses.

Alman Rekabet Otoritesi (Bundeskartellamt), Amazon’un Almanya’daki Amazon Marketplace platformunda üçüncü taraf satıcıların fiyatlandırmalarını etkileyen fiyat kontrol mekanizmalarını uygulamasını, bu sistematik müdahalenin satıcıların kendi fiyatlarını serbestçe belirleme özgürlüğü bakımından Alman Rekabet Yasası ve Avrupa Birliği’nin İşleyişi Hakkında Antlaşma’nın 102. maddesi kapsamında kötüye kullanma teşkil ettiğini değerlendirerek yasakladı. Ayrıca Amazon’un gelecekte bu tür mekanizmaları yalnızca istisnai durumlarda, özellikle aşırı fiyatlama hallerinde ve Bundeskartellamt tarafından belirlenen parametreler ve bildirim yükümlülüklerine uygun olarak kullanabileceğine karar verdi.
Hollanda Rekabet Otoritesi, bir bilgi teknolojileri şirketi hakkında, diğer teşebbüslerle çalışan ayartmama anlaşmalarına taraf olduğu şüphesiyle soruşturma başlattı.
