The Turkish Competition Authority has initiated an investigation into 19 private school operators following allegations of significant increases in school registration fees, the application of excessive prices to ancillary services such as catering, books/stationery and school uniforms, and practices allegedly tying certain ancillary services to the core education service by obliging parents to purchase these services through specific designated sales channels.
The Turkish Competition Authority has launched an investigation into 26 undertakings operating in the banking, insurance and information technology sectors following allegations that they entered into no-poach agreements and/or engaged in the exchange of competitively sensitive information in the labor market.
