The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has announced that it is inviting comments until 25 June 2025 on EVRi’s planned acquisition of DHL eCommerce UK and DHL’s minority stake in EVRi, seeking initial views on the transaction’s impact on competition.
The German Federal Kartel Office (Bundeskartellamt) prohibited Tönnies’s proposed acquisition of Vion’s slaughterhouses, finding that it would create or strengthen Tönnies’s dominant position in several regional meat procurement and slaughter markets, significantly reducing competition to the detriment of farmers and smaller competitors.
